The Benefits of Membership

There are many great reasons to become a member of the Centre for Seniors Information.

Business Membership:

  1. Your business cards, brochures and information are displayed at our storefront location in the Northills Shopping Centre & our second location at the Seniors Activity Centre in the Brock Shopping Centre
  2. Your business information is displayed on our website at www.csikamloops.ca
  3. We provide a wide range of information and referral
  4. CSI is located in the heart of the highest senior population in Kamloops and has thousands of visits from seniors, their families, caregivers or friends
  5. Many seniors planning a move to Kamloops or district will visit, call or e-mail for contact information in all areas of senior services
  6. It is an affordable and effective way marketing your business or organization

Personal Membership:

  1. Having access to a wide range of programs, services, activities and resources
  2. Taking part in our Annual General Meeting and having a voice in what decisions are made
  3. Member discounts on special events and activities that take place
  4. Can open the door to volunteer opportunities

Becoming a Member

Membership can be taken out at anytime throughout the year. It is as simple as:

  1. Visiting or calling the Centre for Seniors
  2. Submitting a membership application form along with your fee
  3. Paying your membership fee when you receive your annual notice.

Annual Membership Fees

CSI has four types of membership:

  • Business: $150.00 / per member
  • Small Business (Home Based) : $75.00 / per member
  • Individual: $15.00 / per member
  • Non-Profit: $No Charge

An AGM is held each spring and all members are notified by email, mail or phone. This provides a wonderful opportunity to meet the staff and volunteers.

Members and visitors to the Centre for Seniors are encouraged to voice their appreciation or suggestions in written form and drop it off at our office.
